Icy Dreams

Postcard_12-08-2011_F2Our sale is still going strong! I want to spotlight a different sale collection today, Icy Dreams. The Icy Dreams collection doesn’t have the usual amount of color that I use in my pieces, but it makes up for it in texture. We use a mix of Swarovski Crystals and Genuine Crystals (not glass!) to create an ice chip texture. It catches the light beautifully. All the pieces are white and silver and so easy to match. Sale pieces are going fast, so check here to see which Icy Dreams pieces are still available. Since they are on sale why not get a few and layer them! The Icy Dreams pieces look so nice when worn together, as you can see for yourself above. Postcard_12-08-2011_F

The Icy dreams collection, with so much white and lots of circler patterns, reminded me of the dining room table I embellished for our house. I thought I’d share some images of this little DIY project I did a few years back. The table is one of my favorite pieces in my apartment. It was gifted to me by my friend, Ran Oron, who is a talented architect and the founder of ROART. When he moved to his new apartment a few years ago, he left this table with me. When I got it the table was beautiful, but a little plain, just clear plastic. I wanted to add a personalized touch so I used gesso (white paint) and painted fun circular patterns all over the underside of the table. As you’ve probably noticed, circles are my favorite shape and they are all over my house. It was an easy way to quickly change the look of furniture and make the table fit right in with the rest of our decor. I also made the vase that’s in the center of the table, and it’s also covered in circles :) . I like to make sure there are always flowers in the house, such a simple touch that makes a room look so much brighter. It was a fun project and if anyone ever needs any DIY advice let me know! – Michal unnamed-9 unnamed-11 unnamed-10
