Hand drawn pendants

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was busy working on this new line of pieces I am designing. With modern technology in jewelry making, I can now have any illustration of mine cut into metal. Years ago I would have to create designs in wax and send them to be cast in metal. It was sometimes hard to be as detailed and precise with my designs. I am so excited to create whole new styles and shapes! These new pieces are very tied into my love of abstract modern art and my ceramics art work. I wanted to give them a hand drawn feel and make something very unique, that you can’t find in any other jewelry store. We still kept some of the expected Michal Golan look by adding semi-precious stones and colored enamel, but for the most part it’s a very new look for me. For now I am calling them “abstract flowers.” I am dying to know what everyone thinks! Please leave me some feed back in the comments.

I also made a few of these fun tie necklaces. They are also different from my usual look. Do you guys like them? They would be very cute to wear to a casual office place or could be given as a graduation or first job gift for a daughter. All the pieces featured in the blog can be found on Etsy! If you want to give some feedback, feel free to comment below or on our Facebook page. White Swarovski Crystal Tie can be seen here. Red Swarovski Crystal tie can be seen here. Both are plated in 24K gold and cost $38.
